Our boys

 We are extremely proud of our great boys here at Starlit Mesa. It's very important for all of us to do our best to improve our breed, this principle should apply to ALL breeders, not just those of us who compete in the show ring.

We have seen a terrible lack of very high quality males that are available for stud service in this breed. At this point in time, most successful breeders do not allow their great males to stand at stud. While we understand that it's extremely important to protect bloodlines from misuse, it's also important for good and honest people to have the option to breed their nice girls to a top stud that has a strong pedigree behind him.

We breed to the breed standard, because of that we do NOT breed our boys to disqualified colored females. We cannot do business with anyone who is in the business of breeding DQ'd colors.
